Vantag ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal finance and expense tracking app that converts your spending into working hours. We take your financial privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
When you use Vantag, you may provide the following information:
All of your financial data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Your expense data never leaves your device except as described below in the AI Features section.
Vantag offers AI-powered automatic expense categorization using third-party AI services (OpenAI GPT-4o and Google Gemini). When you use this feature:
Vantag includes a receipt scanning feature that uses optical character recognition (OCR) to extract information from receipts. All OCR processing happens locally on your device. Receipt images are not uploaded to any external server.

Your financial data (expenses, categories, preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers to store your personal or financial data. Third-party services used:
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or financial information with third parties. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Firebase and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Your financial data is stored securely on your device using Apple's built-in data protection. We recommend keeping your device passcode enabled and your operating system up to date to maintain optimal security.
Vantag is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all app data by uninstalling Vantag from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
